It all started 25 years ago with an album and cabaret show of Sammy Cahn songs by singer Jeff Harnar and pianist/music director Alex Rybeck titled "All the Way". Now out of print, that album was remixed, expanded, and released last year on PS Classics. The updated show, "The Second Time Around," was unveiled in July 2024 at New York's 54 Below. Jeff and Alex are bringing it to The Blue Strawberry in St. Louis on August 8, 2025. We'll talk about that.
Jeff and Alex are also conducting a singer's workshop in collaboration with The Cabaret Project STL, which concludes with a St. Louis Singers Showcase on August 11th, also at the Blue Strawberry. #jeffharnar #alexrybeck #sammycahn #cabaret #ratpack #greatamericansongbook
